This four-mile circular walk will be an opportunity to explore Coombe and Cowlands, the centres of the Kea plum industry. We will also look at evidence of other local traditional industries such as oak coppicing (as featured in Cornish Archaeology), and
oyster fishing. Medieval field systems, the settlement at Old Kea, and the modern Tregothnan tea plantations will be included along the way. The walk is graded moderate and includes some hills.
Places for the walk will be available from our Ticket Tailor box office three weeks prior, please book a ticket if you wish to receive a place on the walk.
