Who are we and what do we do?
The Cornwall Archaeological Society is a membership organisation which exists to promote and encourage the understanding of the archaeology of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It does this through the direct involvement of its members in archaeological survey, research, excavation and publication, in cooperation and collaboration with other heritage bodies. Its activities include programmes of lectures and walks, the publication of newsletters and an annual Journal and the maintenance of a website. It charges a subscription for membership and collects Gift Aid on those subscriptions.
What information do we hold on our members?
We hold the information necessary to know who our members are and how to contact them, so we hold names, telephone numbers, email addresses and postal addresses. We also hold gift aid statements and details of members’ subscriptions. The Membership Secretary holds this information on behalf of the Society.
How we will use this information?
We use this information solely for the purpose of operating the Society, managing annual subscriptions and Gift Aid, maintaining contact with the membership and disseminating information to them. We will never give this information to third parties.
