SUMMARY:Where Kea Plums Grow led by Nigel Baker
DESCRIPTION:This four-mile circular walk will be an opportunity to explore 
 Coombe and Cowlands\, the centres of the Kea plum industry. We will also l
 ook at evidence of other local traditional industries such as oak coppicin
 g (as featured in Cornish Archaeology)\, and\noyster fishing. Medieval fie
 ld systems\, the settlement at Old Kea\, and the modern Tregothnan tea pla
 ntations will be included along the way. The walk is graded moderate and i
 ncludes some hills.\n\nPlaces for the walk will be available from our Tick
 et Tailor box office three weeks prior\, please book a ticket if you wish 
 to receive a place on the walk.
