Industrial Heritage Subject Specialist Network event at Wheal Martyn.
Shane Kelleher MCIfA Industrial Heritage Support Officer, Ironbridge Gorge Museums will present a talk on ‘Understanding and Maintaining Historic Industrial Buildings’. This will be followed by ‘A Cornish Case Study: Wheal Martyn Clay Works! Project’ with Julia Orchard, Project Officer, Wheal Martyn.
The event is on Friday 17th November 2017, 10.00am to 12.30pm. An optional guided tour of Wheal Martyn is also available from 2.00pm, for those who would like to make a full day of it.
Presentations are free to attend, with tea/coffee provided. Lunch is not included but the café will be open and serving throughout the day.
