Hedging taster days

Written by |

Golden Tree productions are currently running a project called ‘Kerdroya’. This project is all about the ancient craft of Cornish hedging and aims to connect the community with ‘Master Hedgers’ at events and workshops with an aim to engage and educate people about the significance of the Cornish hedge and how it has played an important role in shaping our landscape as well as making vital contributions to the local wildlife.

At the free day-long community hedging taster sessions, the public are invited to work alongside a master hedger to help restore and rebuild a Cornish hedge in the local style, whilst learning more about the hedges geological, ecological and cultural significance.
