In August there will be an opportunity to help out in an investigation on the calciner flue on the summit of Kit Hill, we will be removing the turf to find out how big the voids in the flue are which are causing holes to appear in the paths. We will be refilling with sand to make the area safe.
The work will take place on the 7th & 8th August with the 14th & 15thAugust 2018 being held in reserve if the weather is poor on the first two days.
