We are sad to announce that Brian Hammond, a former CAS secretary, passed away a few days ago.
Brian and his wife Sheila, who he is survived by, were CAS Joint Secretaries from 1993 to 1997.
Two enthusiastic and knowledgeable amateur archaeologists, they were both retired teachers and lovely, generous people.
His funeral will be held at 1.30 p.m. on Monday 10th April at St Paul’s Church, Church Road, Charlestown, Cornwall PL25 3NS.
