Appropriate interpretations of Bronze Age burial in South West Britain: a tribute to Andy M Jones.
Henrietta Quinnell has been active in the prehistory of Cornwall since excavating barrows on the St Austell Granite in the 1970s and is a Vice-President of the Cornwall Archaeological Society. She was for 30 years the Exeter University Archaeology Lecturer for Extra-Mural Studies in the South West.
This lecture will present changes in the interpretation of barrows and burial practice over this period. Henrietta formed a strong working friendship with the late Andy Jones and offers this talk as a tribute to him for his outstanding contribution to Cornish prehistory.
Online event via Zoom.
