This was a repeat of the 14 March 2026 CAS walk, which had been oversubscribed.
The 4.5-mile walk visited a selection of sites illustrating the diversity of Penwith’s heritage, including Chapel Carn Brea and its cairns, Carn Euny Iron Age/Romano-British village and fogou, the Carn Euny Wells, Brane chambered tomb, and the Bronze Age enclosure and cairns at Bartinney. The route was mainly on good tracks, with approximately 500 feet of climbing.
