Cornish Archaeology Online – Visualising Ancient Landscape in West Penwith with Art and Technology

Digital artist and lecturer Pheobe Herring, who specializes in historic reconstructions, will be speaking on work she has done in the past and about her process. She has worked with Penwith Landscape Partnership to produce a series of digital paintings of historic sites based on archaeological evidence. These paintings provide a way of visualising ancient landscapes that can make the gulf between the past and the present appear approachable.

Cornish Archaeology Online is a series of talks that is open to all. Talks will take place over Zoom and will explore Archaeology in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The lecture will begin at 7PM with access from 6:50PM. No registration will be required for this session, though entry is limited to the first 100 attendees. Joining details below:
