Exploring Prehistoric Activity on Caradon Hill led by Kate Ullman

This 3.5 mile walk will focus on the recently identified enclosure that circles the top of Caradon Hill. It will be an opportunity to look at the visible features, discuss what we can see and consider how that relates to other known features on the hill.

The wider landscape of Caradon Hill, including structures already identified and recorded on the Historic Environment Record and in the Minions Survey of 1993, will also be part of our itinerary.

The walk will include around 500 feet of climbing on open access moorland. The enclosure itself includes uneven and at times rocky landscape, although the top of Caradon Hill is relatively flat.
