St Enodoc and The Rumps with Nicholas Johnson
Sunday 10 June – Meet at 11 am at Daymer Bay carpark SW929 777
We will visit the three Tumuli (and admire the fabulous view of Padstow estuary) on the top of Brea Hill before dropping down and exploring St Enodoc church, the burial place of Sir John Betjeman. We will then drive to Pentire Farm with our picnic lunches and walk to The Rumps cliff castle, where CAS excavated in the mid 1960s. Glorious views of the North Cornwall coast.
Bring clothing suitable for the coastal footpath.
