 sh prehistory\, particularly monuments of the Neolithic and Early Bronze A
 ge.\n\nThe area underneath and around the town of Dorchester in Dorset was
  an important place for Neolithic people\, who built a variety of monument
 s here over a period of 2000 years. This talk will provide a detailed narr
 ative of the emergence and development of this monument complex over time\
 , but also trace the connections this area had with other parts of Britain
  and Ireland\, through similarities in monument form and deposition practi
 ces\, as well as art and artefacts.
