SUMMARY:Archaeology Online – Megaliths of Orkney with Vicki Cummings
DESCRIPTION:This talk will consider new excavations on a chambered tomb\, a
 nd nearby settlement site\, at Tresness\, Sanday\, Orkney. Tresness is the
  remains of a well-preserved stalled cairn which dates from the early Neol
 ithic period\, and the excavations enable new insights into how this type 
 of monument was used here at this site\, and potentially further afield.\n
 \nThe lecture will begin at 7PM with access from 6:50PM. No registration w
 ill be required for this session\, though entry is limited to the first 10
