Cornwall Archaeological Society is delighted that the Cornwall AONB team has secured a £489,700 grant towards its ‘Monumental Improvement’ project from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Congratulations to everyone in the AONB team for working so hard on the bid!
Our society works actively to monitor, explain and help conserve Cornwall’s unique historic environment including its Scheduled Monuments. This project will not only safeguard these special places but will involve our members, fellow heritage groups and the wider public in an exciting and varied programme.
