Next week CAU will be carrying out a rescue excavation of a Romano-British and early medieval industrial site at Duckpool, Morwenstow (NGR 20088 11644) for the National Trust. We will be there from Monday 16th to Saturday 21st January. There is a report on previous excavations on the site in Cornish Archaeology No, 34, (1995).
If any CAS members would like to come along and help us out as volunteers they would be most welcome. We are planning to hold an open day on Friday 20th, and similarly, anyone would like to come along and see what we have found and recorded would be very welcome.
